31-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle at G and 6th Streets
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 9, 2022) – One person died in a pedestrian accident at G Street and 6th Street in San Bernardino early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. on June 5. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, the 31-year-old pedestrian from Palmdale was walking at the intersection when a vehicle struck them.
First responders rushed the victim to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim did not survive and was declared dead.
Authorities withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
An investigation is underway. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was involved at this time.
