2 Deputies Among Hurt in Multi-Car Crash on Gallatin Road in Pico Rivera

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (June 9, 2022) — Two deputies and another person suffered injuries in a multi-car accident on Gallatin Road at Rosemead Boulevard on Wednesday morning.
 
According to reports, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 9:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, four cars crashed in Pico Rivera, trapping one Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy inside one of the vehicles.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought both deputies to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Reports also noted that a third person suffered unknown injuries.
 
At this time, authorities have not verified the exact circumstances of the accident. However, investigators learned that the crash took place as the deputies responded to a robbery.
