Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Cajon Boulevard in Muscoy

 
MUSCOY, CA (May 11, 2021) – One person died Friday morning after a pedestrian accident at Cajon Boulevard and University Parkway.
 
Around 4:35 a.m. on May 7, CHP officials responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying down in lanes. Paramedics immediately performed life-saving measures, but the victim did not survive and was pronounced dead.
 
The driver that struck the pedestrian has pulled to the right shoulder and remained on scene, CHP officials said.
 
Coroner’s personnel withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
