Motorcycle Rider Dies after Hit by SUV on Highway 101 in San Francisco

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 12, 2024) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 101 in San Francisco Thursday afternoon on April 11.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:29 p.m. at the 80 Freeway connector. According to the San Francisco Fire Department, a white SUV was traveling westbound on the freeway when it crashed into the motorcycle.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
 
No additional information is currently available. The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
