Rider Dies after Colliding with Car at Dogtown and Skyway Roads

 
MAGALIA, CA (June 15, 2022) – One person died in a motorcycle accident at Dogtown Road and Skyway Road in Magalia on Tuesday.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:18 p.m. on June 14. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection.
 
As a result of the crash, the rider suffered significant injuries.
 
The Butte County Fire Department crews responded and provided aid, but the rider died at the scene.
 
Coroner’s officials withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown at this time if any drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
