Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Avenue 8 in Richgrove

 
RICHGROVE, CA (November 29, 2023) – One person was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Avenue 8 and Road 208 in Richgrove on Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 6:00 a.m. on November 28. According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was struck by a dark-colored truck.
 
After the crash, the driver of the truck continued without stopping.
 
The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. They have not yet been identified.
