Head-On Accident on Rogge Lane in Watsonville, Driver Killed

 
WATSONVILLE, CA (September 27, 2021) – One person died in a head-on accident on Rogge Lane in Watsonville Friday night.
 
The accident happened around 6:14 p.m. on September 24, at the intersection with Highway 129. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Ford Excursion and a gold Toyota Prius collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the driver of the Prius suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
 
Officers said there were several occupants in the Ford, unknown if they sustained injuries from the accident.
 
At this time, an investigation is still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
