Deadly Fiery Accident on Van Allen Road in Stockton Involves 2 Vehicles

 
STOCKTON, CA (November 9, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a fiery accident on Van Allen Road in Stockton on Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 1:50 p.m. on November 8 at the intersection with Highway 4. According to California Highway Patrol, a Toyota SUV and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the cars to burst into flames.
 
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, while paramedics performed life-saving aid.
 
Sadly, at least one person did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
The roadway near the crash site was closed until around 3:37 p.m. The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
