77-Year-Old Hong Zhang Dies in Crash on 40 Freeway near Mile Marker 29

 
NEWBERRY SPRINGS, CA (November 9, 2021) — Hong Zhang died in an accident on the 40 Freeway near Mile Marker 29 Thursday night.
 
According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department report, the fatal crash happened around 9:28 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, 77-year-old Hong Fei Zhang became involved in an accident that claimed his life.
 
Soon after, authorities responded to investigate the scene. There, they found the Hacienda Heights man, a passenger in a vehicle, deceased on arrival.
