One Hurt after Car Slams into Coffee Shop at Redwood Road
CASTRO VALLEY, CA (November 9, 2021) — One person is recovering from injuries after a car crashes into a coffee shop at Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard.
According to reports, the accident happened around 4:40 p.m. Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver jumped a curb at Peet’s Coffee shop and caused minor damage to the building.
As a result, one person suffered minor injuries. Soon after, sheriff’s deputies, the Alameda County fire department and an ambulance crew reached the scene to tend the damage and patient.
At this time, information as to what caused the accident remains unclear. Although, any witnesses with insight should turn to the police.
