SUV Crashes into Embankment on 91 Freeway in Cerritos Killing One

 
CERRITOS, CA (June 20, 2023) – One person was killed in a car accident on 91 Freeway in Cerritos early Sunday morning on June 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:30 a.m. at Bloomfield Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Audi SUV was traveling westbound on the freeway when it crashed into the right shoulder embankment.
 
Officers arrived and pronounced one person dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Paramedics rushed another person to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
