Two Cars Collide on Highway 119 in Taft Injuring One Person

 
TAFT, CA (February 20, 2024) – One person was injured in a two-car accident on Highway 119 in Taft Saturday evening on February 17.
 
The accident happened at the intersection with Ash Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, two cars collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact sent one of the cars off the road and it overturned. It then struck a chain-link fence and landed upside down against a block wall behind a house in the 100 block of Adams Street.
 
Responding paramedics took the driver of the overturned car to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
