Motorcyclist Sustains Multiple Fractures after Crash with Pickup Truck on Sixth Avenue in Hillcrest

 
HILLCREST, CA (February 20, 2024) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic accident on Sixth Avenue in the Hillcrest neighborhood Monday morning on February 19.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 31-year-old man was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on Sixth Avenue. At the same time, the44-year-old motorcyclist was heading south.
 
Police said the truck was attempting to turn left into a parking garage and failed to yield to the motorcycle. He then collided into the motorcycle at 3800 Sixth Avenue just after 6:30 a.m.
 
As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist sustained multiple fractures.
 
Paramedics took the motorcyclist to a hospital in an unknown condition.
