Innocent Driver Sustains Injuries When Police Pursuit Ends in Crash near Arlington Avenue

 
JEFFERSON PARK, CA (March 19, 2023) – One person was injured after a police pursuit near Arlington Avenue in the Jefferson Park area Thursday afternoon on March 16.
 
The pursuit started around 2:25 p.m. at Normandie Avenue and 23rd Street when two suspects in an allegedly stolen car ran from the scene. It ended a short time later when the suspects’ vehicle slammed into another vehicle near Arlington Avenue at 10 Freeway, leaving the vehicle on its side, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
The impact of the crash sent the innocent driver’s car on its side next to an embankment. The driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
 
Police arrested the two suspects and took them into custody. Further investigation is underway.
