One Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash on 4th Street near R Street

 
EUREKA, CA (November 16, 2022) — One person sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on 4th Street in Eureka on Monday, November 14.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, a dark blue Honda struck a pedestrian on 4th Street near the Mcdonald’s at about 7:00 p.m.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian unconscious but breathing. After that, a report said an ambulance Code 3 rushed one person to the hospital.
 
Authorities closed 4th Street before the R Street intersection. They also redirected the traffic after the incident.
