Hit-and-Run Crash on Lincoln Boulevard in Oroville Injures at Least One Person

 
OROVILLE, CA (August 15, 2023) – One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash at Lincoln Boulevard and Ophir Road in Oroville on Friday evening.
 
The crash happened around 8:05 p.m. on August 11. According to the California Highway Patrol, a maroon 2016 Nissan Sentra was involved in a crash in unclear circumstances.
 
After the crash, the driver of the Sentra drove away without stopping.
 
First responders responded at least one injured patient as a result of the crash.
 
CHP said the Sentra sustained severe damage and has a missing rear bumper. The suspect car is possibly in the Palermo area.
 
Further investigation is underway. CHP officials urged witnesses to call them at 530-331-1200, and reference log #225 from Friday.
