Bicyclist Sustained Injuries in Truck Accident on Highway 101 near East Washington Street

 
PETALUMA, CA (September 14, 2022) — One person suffered injuries in a bicycle crash on Highway 101 on Monday, September 12.
 
According to Petaluma police, the crash occurred at around 7:48 p.m. on East Washington Street at the northbound Highway 101 offramp.
 
A driver in a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the bicyclist, police said. Medics brought the bicyclist to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Officials closed the eastbound side of the overpass for around 30 minutes after the crash.
 
California Highway Patrol helped with the investigation.
