Early Morning Rollover Crash on San Carlos Drive Sends Driver to Hospital

 
SAN CARLOS, CA (October 17, 2022) – One person was hospitalized in a rollover accident on San Carlos Drive early Thursday morning, October 13.
 
The accident happened around 12:45 a.m. near Bisby Lake Avenue in the San Carlos neighborhood. According to the San Diego Police Department, a car lost control for unknown reasons and struck several parked vehicles. It then overturned and came to rest upside down on another parked vehicle.
 
Responding emergency crews cut open the car for about 30 minutes to pull the driver from the wreckage.
 
The driver was then taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Police said the driver would be evaluated for possible DUI. Further investigation is underway.
