Pedestrian Crash at 4th and Main Streets in Downtown Chico Involves at Least Two Vehicles

 
CHICO, CA (March 24, 2023) – One person was hospitalized in a pedestrian accident at 4th Street and Main Street in downtown Chico on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. on March 21. According to the Chico Police Department, at least two vehicles hit the pedestrian in unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles also reportedly hit a store causing some damage.
 
First responders found a Mini Cooper blocking the entrance to the Melody Records store. They also located a Honda Odyssey at the scene with front-end damage.
 
A woman was found lying on the ground with unspecified injuries. Paramedics then took the victim to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
