Man Sustained Injuries in Car Accident on Shaw Avenue near Armstrong Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (August 17, 2021) — A car crash on Shaw Avenue left a man hospitalized and closed some roads in Clovis on Sunday, August 8.
 
According to Clovis police, the man drove westbound on Shaw Avenue when he veered off from his lane. Then he struck the curb, a pole, and a traffic sign.
 
He suffered injuries and paramedics rushed him to the Clovis Community Hospital. The extent of his condition was not immediately available.
 
A traffic sign displaced by the incident fell on another car and caused some damages to it.
 
Officials temporarily closed the westbound lane of Shaw between Armstrong and Fowler as crews cleared the scene.
