Fiery Rollover Crash on Highway 84 in Fremont Involves SUV and Pickup Truck

 
FREMONT, CA (September 30, 2023) – One person was ejected in a fiery rollover accident on Highway 84 in Fremont Thursday morning on September 28.
 
The crash happened before the toll plaza of the Dumbarton Bridge. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white SUV and a silver pickup truck collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over and catch fire.
 
One occupant in one of the vehicles was ejected onto the roadway.
 
Around 5:30 a.m., several lanes were closed due to a gravel spill on the roadway.
 
CHP is investigating this as a possibly deadly crash, but there is no confirmation on how many victims there are and their condition.
