Truck Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 150 in Santa Barbara County

 
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (September 6, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 150 on September 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Casitas Pass Road at approximately 2:40 PM.
 
Based on reports, the victim was on a motorcycle traveling on the highway at an unknown rate of speed at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the motorcycle collided with a semi-truck. However, the details that led to the crash were not immediately available.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the identity of the victim pending kin notification.
 
Also, the commotion caused slow traffic on the winding rural highway. At this point, an investigation into this motorcycle accident on Highway 150 is ongoing.
