One Dead in Pedestrian Crash on 215 Freeway [San Bernardino, CA]

One Fatally Injured after Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway near Baseline Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (November 1, 2022) — One person died in a fatal pedestrian crash on the 215 Freeway on Sunday, October 30.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 3:57 a.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway before Baseline Street.
 
When CHP officers arrived at the area, they discovered the incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene. Officials have not released their identity at this time.
 
The driver that struck the pedestrian reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. As of now, there had been no charges.
 
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
