MONTEBELLO, CA (November 15, 2021) – One person was killed after a car crashed into a parked truck on Flotilla Street, Thursday evening.
 
According to the Deputy Director of Public Affairs, the incident happened on November 11, at about 6:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a car slammed into the rear of a parked truck in the 2000 block of Flotilla Street.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the passenger of the car dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car sustained unspecified injuries.
 
The Montebello Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
