According to reports, the crash happened along Florin Road at 6th Parkway near Highway 99 at about 5 a.m.
 
Officials said that an eastbound semi-trailer truck made a U-turn on Florin Road at 6th Parkway. Then a Toyota Camry hit the rear right side of the truck.
 
The driver of the Toyota suffered fatal injuries and died.
 
Authorities closed the intersection as crews investigate. There are no reports if alcohol, drugs, or speed contributed to the incident.
