Pedestrian Suffers Critical Injuries after Struck by Vehicle on Seneca Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (December 8, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident on Seneca Road in Victorville Tuesday night on December 5.
 
The accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. at Rodeo Drive. According to the Victorville Police Department, a vehicle struck the pedestrian who was walking at the intersection.
 
Upon arrival, firefighters found the pedestrian lying on the ground with severe injuries.
 
The victim was airlifted to a specialized trauma center in critical condition.
 
Authorities also added that the injured pedestrian required an additional supply of blood, which was urgently requested by the responders.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. Victorville police are still piecing together the events leading up to the crash.
