SUV Hits and Severely Injures Pedestrian on Main Street in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (July 20, 2023) – One person was critically injured in a pedestrian accident at Main Street and G Avenue in Hesperia Tuesday evening on July 18.
 
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. near the Taco Bell. According to the Hesperia Police Department, a silver Chevrolet Equinox struck the pedestrian at the intersection.
 
When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian lying in the middle of the roadway and people were performing CPR on the victim.
 
Paramedics then rushed the pedestrian to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
 
The SUV which sustained a broken windshield pulled into the Fastrip gas station. The driver stayed and cooperated with authorities.
 
The Hesperia Police Department is handling the investigation and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
