Passenger Killed in 3-Wheeled Motorcycle Crash on 16th Street in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 21, 2023) — A passenger died in a 3-wheeled motorcycle accident on 16th Street near J Street.
 
According to authorities, the deadly accident happened around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a 32-year-old man operating a 2021 Polaris Slingshot lost control when the vehicle struck a ditch in the road. Subsequently, the Polaris, traveling at a high rate of speed, collided with a parked 2019 Honda Civic and a parked 1998 Toyota Camry.
 
A passenger on the Polaris suffered fatal injuries in the crash and the driver sustained internal bleeding in the pelvis.
