Bicyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries after Crash with Car on Eisenhower Drive in La Quinta

 
LA QUINTA, CA (November 29, 2022) – One person was badly injured in a bicycle accident on Eisenhower Drive in La Quinta Saturday morning on November 26.
 
The accident happened shortly before 10:30 a.m., just south of Coachella Drive. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a car collided with the bicyclist for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics responded and took the bicyclist to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
At this time, deputies do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
