51-Year-Old Man Dies in Early Morning Hit-and-Run Crash on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (May 30, 2023) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach early Monday morning on May 29.
 
The fatal crash happened around 4:00 a.m. just north of Knoxville Avenue. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the man was walking in the northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking him, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
The man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 51-year-old Huntington Beach resident. His name was not immediately available.
 
An investigation is ongoing. Police urged anyone with further information to call them at 714-536-5670.
