BUENA PARK, CA (May 22, 2023) — Paramedics took an officer to a hospital following a 2-car crash at Dale Street and Commonwealth Avenue.
 
According to the Buena Park police Department, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a Buena Park Patrol vehicle crashed into a white SUV. The white SUV sustained major damage to the front passenger side, while the patrol car sustained similar damage.
 
Minutes later, additional officers responded to the scene to find their colleague bleeding from the head. Paramedics took the injured officer to a hospital for treatment.
