3 Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 246 in Buellton

 
BUELLTON, CA (May 28, 2024) — Three people were injured in Friday’s multi-car accident on Highway 246 near Highway 101.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 4:10 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, several vehicles crashed on Highway 246 near Buellton. Subsequently, Santa Barbara County Fire officials arrived and assisted five injured patients. They took three of them to Marion Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
Following the crash, traffic investigators stayed and canvassed the area for clues leading to the cause. However, authorities did not explain what led to the accident.
