Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 84 in Newark Kills Norma Hall

 
NEWARK, CA (August 21, 2022) – Norma Hall was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 84 in Newark on Tuesday evening, August 16.
 
The accident happened around 9:09 p.m. just east of the Newark Boulevard on-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, at least two vehicles collided on the eastbound highway for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found Hall suffering from major injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, 70-year-old Fremont resident Hall died at the scene, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Bureau.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash. It is also unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol were contributing factors.
