23-Year-Old Nathan Franklin Dies after Hit-and-Run on 6th Street Bridge

 
BOYLE HEIGHTS, CA (January 19, 2024) – Authorities identified 23-year-old Nathan Franklin as the man killed by a hit-and-run driver on 6th Street Bridge.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on December 30. Franklin was riding his dirt bike when a white Dodge Ram truck hit him.
 
A witness rendered aid to Franklin, who was later rushed to a hospital.
 
Days after being reported missing, Franklin was located by his cousin. As per reports, Franklin was on life support and was declared brain dead. His family eventually made the difficult decision to remove Franklin from life support on January 6.
