Man Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident on Highway 154 near Foxen Canyon Road

 
LOS OLIVOS, CA (April 17, 2023) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 154, Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident happened on April 16, at about 2:40 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a motorcycle, a Ford Mustang, and a Lexus sedan collided near Foxen Canyon Road.
 
A bystander performed CPR at the scene on the motorcyclist. An American Medical Response ambulance later transported the victim to Santa Ynez Cottage Hospital. Authorities did not release the name of the victim.
 
No other injuries were reported.
 
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
