Pileup Crash on Ventura Freeway in Encino Leaves Rider Dead

 
ENCINO, CA (July 14, 2021) – A motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle accident on Ventura (101) Freeway in Encino Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. on July 14, at White Oak Avenue. CHP officials said a motorcycle and several other vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they located the rider suffering from severe injuries. Despite life-saving aid, the rider died at the scene.
 
No one else was injured in the crash.
 
Crews closed four westbound freeway lanes in the area for an unknown duration while they cleared the wreckage.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
