Rider Dies after Crashing Head-On with SUV on Neal Road in Paradise

 
PARADISE, CA (September 1, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in a head-on accident on Neal Road in Paradise on Tuesday evening, August 30.
 
The accident happened around 7:35 p.m. just south of McCann Drive. According to the CHP, a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading through a right curve on northbound Neal Road. At the same time, a BMW SUV was traveling southbound.
 
For unknown reasons, the motorcycle drifted into the southbound lane and collided head-on into the SUV. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from his bike, causing him major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to Enloe Medical Center, where he later died. The victim was only identified as a 47-year-old Chico resident.
 
One passenger in the BMW also sustained major injuries. Two other passengers had minor injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
