Man Faces DUI and Hit-and-Run Charges after Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (November 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries in a DUI hit-and-run crash on Highway 41 in northeast Fresno Tuesday evening.
 
The crash happened just before 10:00 pm on November 9, along the southbound highway near Bullard Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, an SUV collided with the motorcyclist near the on-ramp to the highway, causing the SUV to overturn.
 
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, suffered major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV, a man in his mid-20s, tried to run away from the scene. Police later located him and arrested him for DUI and hit-and-run charges. He sustained minor injuries.
