Motorcycle Rider Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Accident on Niles Street and Glenwood Drive

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 5, 2021) — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Niles Street on Saturday, April 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 9:56 a.m., a motorcycle and Ford Mustang crashed on Niles Street and Glenwood Drive. The department said officers discovered the motorcyclist unconscious in the roadway.
 
Medics transported the rider to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries.
 
CHP reported that the driver of the Mustang left the area on foot after the incident. They described him as a black man who is in his 20s.
