Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Accident on Highway 99 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (April 5, 2021) – Police confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99 on April 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Belmont Avenue around 6:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the man was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, at least two cars struck him.
 
As a result, the man died at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
The drivers of both cars stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators. It is not yet clear if drugs or alcohol were factors in the case.
