Motorcycle Rider Crashes Into Forklift in Ashe Road Accident near Megaris Avenue [Bakersfield, CA]

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 5, 2023) — A motorcycle rider died after crashing into a forklift operator on Ashe Road near Megaris Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly motorcycle accident happened around 5:10 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a southbound motorcyclist on Ashe Road, approaching a forklift, collided with its rear. Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from his bike onto the road.
 
Subsequently, emergency personnel reached the scene but confirmed the motorcycle rider dead on arrival. As for the forklift operator, the 59-year-old man did not report any injuries. Details about the 52-year-old motorcyclist’s name were unavailable.
