Police Officer Hit by Vehicle on R Street near Community Regional Medical Center

 
FRESNO, CA (April 18, 2024) – A motorcycle police officer was struck by a car on R Street, late Monday afternoon.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened on April 15, shortly before 5:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the officer near Fresno Street, just in front of Community Regional Medical Center.
 
Multiple motorcycle units arrived to assist the officer. As per reports, the officer did not sustain injuries and was not hospitalized.
 
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
