27-Year-Old Henry Laveran-Stiebar Dies after Motorized Scooter Slams into Parked Car in West Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 18, 2024) – Authorities identified 27-year-old Henry Laveran-Stiebar of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania as the man killed in a scooter accident in West Los Angeles, Tuesday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on April 16, shortly after midnight. For reasons still under investigation, a motorized scooter crashed into a parked vehicle near Beloit Avenue and Missouri Avenue.
 
As per reports, he sustained significant injuries and attempted to ask for help. Investigators believe that the victim eventually made his way to a nearby apartment building’s parking garage, where he fell unconscious.
 
A witness reportedly alerted authorities later that morning. Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
