SUV Overturns on East Madison Avenue Injuring Mother and Two Young Children

 
EL CAJON, CA (September 20, 2022) – A mother and her two young children were hospitalized after a rollover accident on East Madison Avenue in El Cajon on Thursday, September 15.
 
According to the El Cajon Police Department, a Volkswagen SUV crashed, rolled over and struck a power line in the 1300 block of East Madison Avenue.
 
First responders found the mother and children – ages 2 and 6 – inside the overturned SUV. They transported them to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
A utility pole and power lines were taken out from the crash site.
 
The crash also impacted at least 124 customers, according to the San Diego Gas & Electric.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing to determined the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
