50-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies in Late Evening Hit-and-Run Crash in Upland

 
UPLAND, CA (February 1, 2022) – Monroe Stinson IV was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Upland, late Wednesday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:22 p.m. on January 26, in the 300 block of East Foothill Boulevard. According to the Upland Police Department, Stinson was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Stinson suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 50-year-old Pomona resident.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle did not stop after the crash.
 
Police are still investigating the fatality and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
