67-Year-Old Driver Dies after Struck by Train on Main Street in Ludlow

 
LUDLOW, CA (February 1, 2022) – A 67-year-old man was killed in a train accident at Main Street and Baghdad Chase Road in Ludlow on Friday night.
 
The fatal accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. on January 28. According to the BNSF Railroad Police, the man was driving his vehicle when the train struck him.
 
The man suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.
 
At this time, the name of the victim was withheld pending positive identification and the notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was involved. An investigation into this fatality is underway.
