STOCKTON, CA (January 9, 2023) — Minor injuries were reported in a multi-car accident on Highway 99 near Harney Lane.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 9:19 p.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, five vehicles, including a big rig, crashed.
 
Crews had to close all but one southbound lane due to cleanup.
 
At least one person reported minor injuries in the crash, but the type of injuries they sustained was unavailable.
 
By 11:30 p.m., Caltrans lifted the closure and traffic resumed.
