Two-Car Accident on Highway 45 in Willows Leaves 1 with Major Injuries

 
WILLOWS, CA (August 16, 2023) – Michelle Dore was seriously injured in a two-car accident in Willows Monday afternoon on August 14.
 
The accident happened around 2:35 p.m. on Highway 45 at Old Ferry Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Dore was driving a 2000 Honda Odyssey when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic and entered the intersection in front of a 2020 Ford F-250 with a trailer attached.
 
The front of the Ford then crashed into the right side of the Honda.
 
Dore, 55, suffered major injuries from the crash and was taken to Enloe Medical Center.
 
The driver of the Ford, 68-year-old Alfred Stegall, was unharmed.
 
Drugs and/or alcohol are not a factor in the crash and both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
 
An investigation is underway.
