Michael Probst Dies, Brian Cote Involved in Pedestrian Crash in Parking Lot on Main Street at Lindan Avenue

 
QUINCY, CA (May 12, 2022) — Michael Probst died in a pedestrian accident at a Safeway parking lot on Main Street at Lindan Avenue.
 
According to reports, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred early Tuesday at the Plumas Pines Center. Under unclear circumstances, 58-year-old Brian Cote, of Calpine, turned in a southerly direction and struck 57-year-old Probst, who was reportedly walking in a northerly direction.
 
As a result, the Dodge 2500 pickup drove over the Quincy man, causing him severe injuries.
 
Just after the 8:09 a.m. crash, paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Probst deceased.
