Martin Padilla Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Temescal Canyon Road [Corona, CA]

Early Morning Two-Vehicle Crash in Corona Kills 47-Year-Old Driver

 
CORONA, CA (January 30, 2023) – Martin Padilla was killed in a two-vehicle accident south of Corona early Friday morning on January 27.
 
The accident happened around 4:45 a.m. on Temescal Canyon Road near Leroy Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, two sedans collided near the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
Corona Fire Department engine crews responded and found Padilla trapped inside his car. They extricated him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Padilla was 47 years old from Hemet.
 
The other driver sustained unspecified injuries.
 
Temescal Canyon was completely shut down until shortly before 8:00 a.m., while the wreckage was cleared and a preliminary investigation was conducted.
